What is Caribbean Stud Poker?

Caribbean Stud Poker is beautiful in its simplicty. After you place your ante bet, you get five cards. THat’s your hand, period. Based on these cards, you either raise or fold. Only if you raise (by doubling your ante bet) can you see what the dealer has. An optional side bet can help you win a progressive jackpot if you feel like it.

The game has one interesting element – one of the dealer’s cards is dealt face-up. This doesn’t say much at all about what the dealer has, but it can help at times, especially if you’re only rolling with a high card. Pay attention to the dealer’s up card, but don’t let an ace scare you away.
