Dell Inspiron Duo hits the shelves

November 30th, 2026

Dell Inspiron DuoTwo months ago, we reported the Dell Inspiron Duo, a netbook-tablet hybrid that showed a lot of potential for online casino gambling. The device has finally hit the shelves, just in time for the holidays, and the reviews that are coming out are very positive indeed.

The device is half netbook, half tablet. Its multi-touch display swivels around a hinge, and can used normally in netbook mode, or reversed for tablet mode. At 10 inches it's quite big for a netbook, but just right for a tablet. Its dual-core 1.5GHz Intel Atom processor has been used in netbooks for a while, but this is the first tablet device to include it.

The Dell Inspiron Duo is a casino gambler's dream come true. It combines the business-ready power of a netbook with the playful touch screen interface of a netbook. Use it in netbook mode to take notes at your next business meeting, then switch to tablet mode for some no download slot action!

The only thing worth worrying about is the computer's measly 4 hour battery life. For a netbook, this is not very good at all. Users who need to be constantly on the move won't be able to make much use of this new Dell netbook tablet hybrid, but anyone who is looking for a device to use around the home or office will find the new Inspiron do to be a great gaming netbook.

The machine sells for a very reasonable $550. What are you going to ask for this Christmas?

While the device will likely come with a hefty price tag, it is sure to appeal to casino players, who can switch between the fun tablet mode and the more productive netbook mode with little effort. It’s basically the perfect gaming netbook!
