Acer may intend the Aspire E100 Education netbook computer for learning purposes, but studies have demonstrated that students enjoy games of chance just as much as anyone else. So, the question becomes, how well suited is the E100 for internet gambling?
Though the 10-inch 1024×600 display and Intel Atom N550 processor are certainly adequate to the purpose of visiting online casinos, netbook players will be find several features much more compelling. For example, its ability to run the Google Android system not only allows the owner to play Android casino games, but also functions as an "instant on", enabling the user to rapidly launch a web-browser and visit their favorite no download casinos.
Better still, the Aspire One E100 is a dual booting netbook computer, also providing support for Microsoft Windows 7, so if players feel the Android casinos and web-based casinos are getting cold, they can reboot into Windows to play some Windows casino games.
The Acer E100 can communicate wirelessly using both WiFi 802.11 (b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1. For memory and data storage, the E100 includes 1GM of DDR RAM, 250GB hard drive, and a multi-format memory card reader.
Acer anticipates the typical battery life will give users a good 8 hours to enjoy blackjack, slot machines, and any other online casino games.
The Aspire E100 is being developed in conjunction with European Schoolnet and will first be available at European schools, which are likely to co-brand the unit and preload educational bloatware.

CES 2026: Samsung Sliding PC 7 Series Netbook

Samsung introduced the new Sliding PC 7 Series Netbook during the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 (CES 2011) at the Venetian Hotel and Casino. The Sliding PC 7 device is an innovative creature which isn't sure whether to be a netbook computer to be a tablet computer. Or perhaps, this is more a point of confusion (or delight) for the gambler who must choose how he wishes to use the device when network gaming.
The Sliding PC 7 netbook weighs 2.1 pounds, making it half a pound heavier than an Apple iPad. Some say that makes it a little too heavy for one-handed use, though stronger owners are less likely to notice the difference. With a 10 inch 1366 x 768 multitouch display screen, it has a better screen than the iPad which only has a 9.7 inch 1024 x 768 display. But the most noteworthy feature is the fully functional traditional keyboard which can be accessed by sliding the Sliding PC 7 netbook away from the user (hence the name).
The Sliding PC 7 uses the Intel 1.5GHz Oak Trail processor. This speeds performance of the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. This also improves the battery life which will last for up to 9 hours.. Combined with 2GB of RAM, this machine performs admirably even while players wager at the most resource intensive no download casino games.
